Three things to know October 21, 2020

1.) Today, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 6:00 PM, the County of Tuolumne will hold a webinar for businesses operating during the COVID-19 Pandemic and will update all on the Blueprint for a Safer Economy.

The webinar will be held via the Zoom platform.

Registration for the webinar is HERE, if you have registered prior, I will send you a link so it is at the top of your inbox.

Attendees will have the option to watch the Webinar via a Zoom Link, click below for the livestream on Access Tuolumne, on TV Channel 8 for Comcast Subscribers, and by a toll-free phone number.

Questions, comments and input can be submitted prior to the webinar by email to Cole Przybyla. In addition, attendees of the webinar will be able to ask questions live via a moderated Q/A feature on the Zoom Platform.

2.) The California Office of the Small Business Advocate announced an interactive festival, which will use social media channels to showcase live videos from small businesses as owners tell their stories, sell their products and services, and create new experiences for the customer.


If you are interested in getting involved, reach out and I can direct you to our local Small Business Development Center who will take the lead in digital training bootcamps that will assist new businesses to e-commerce and digital marketing, and for those looking to improve their digital presence.

3.) As a reminder, the County of Tuolumne has a $10,000 Business Reimbursement Grant for Coronavirus Expenses. The highlights are:

  1. Businesses and Private Non-Profits can apply

  2. Grant amount is up to $10,000 and if you have applied before you can apply until you reach the $10,000 total amount per business

  3. County of Tuolumne and City businesses/Non-Profits with less than 100 employees qualify

  4. The Grants scope of allowable expenses for reimbursement has broaden, if you have any questions on if something qualifies, please reach out to jterry@co.tuolumne.ca.us

  5. The process for application is now digital
